MP backs biodiesel tax break project

Liberal Democrat MP Andrew George is backing a project to keep tax breaks for who produce biodiesel.
Producers converting cooking oil into biodiesel currently take advantage of a 20p differential however that is due to end next April.
The St Ives MP, who leads the Lib Dem Environment Team, has actually been satisfying with the UK sustainable biodiesel alliance.
Mr George said "a number of small companies in Cornwall currently earn money from used cooking oil".
He included: "In order to be able to get this kind of market going it does need just a bit of lift which is available in the form of tax inescapable."
Biodiesel is a mix of standard diesel, rapeseed and vegetable oils.
